International Officer Cristina Traid was in London last week where she participated in an international congress with the theme of ‘Intercultural Education: Global Citizenship in Changing World Scenarios’ which took place at Regent’s University in collaboration with The Observatory on Borderless Higher Education. The event brought together leading figures in the higher education sector as well as guests from the business community to discuss issues facing international higher education. Representatives from universities from over 25 countries from around the world participated in workshops and seminars to share best practice in international education and network with like-minded professionals.

While in London Cristina also had the opportunity to visit our partner institution University of Greenwich in order to discuss different proposals for joints projects and to finalise details for the first exchange visit for a student from our Advertising and Public Relations degree programme. Rocio Cajal, who will be spending the second semester in London.
