USJ staff at overseas universities through exchange programmes


Since the beginning of the 2015-2016 academic year a number of San Jorge personnel, both teaching and support staff, have had the opportunity to spend time at partner universities in other countries through different international mobility and exchange programmes.

From the Faculty of Health Sciences Elisabeth Bravo has recently spent a week at Vincent Pol University in the Polish city of Lublin and Pharmacy lecturer Víctor López has been at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III in France.

Meanwhile, from the Faculty of Communication, Dean Joseba Bonaut and International Coordinator Joe McMahon last month visited Southamton Solent University, our new partner university in the UK, while Cristina Zurutuza and then Joseba Bonaut visited Babes-Bolyai University in the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca.

With regards to the international activity of our research groups, Physiotherapy lecturer Luis Enrique Roche has been participating in international congresses in Lima, Peru and in Mexico City while Physiotherapy Vice Dean Pablo Herrero has spent a month this semester researching in the UK in collaboration with the University of Keele and Nashwa Nashaat from our Institute of Modern Languages has spent six weeks carrying out research at the University of Vienna in Austria.

Our International staff have also been active, Cristina Traid has visited two of our partner universities in Istanbul while Noël Soria attended the International Week at the University of Helsinki in Finland.
