University language testing experts gather at USJ

Last week 15 language experts from universities all over Spain have attended a course at San Jorge organised by the ILM coordinator for language testing, Lindsey Bruton. The 20-hour course was devoted to item writing for B1 and B2 level exams and the statistical analysis of results and was led by Caroline Shackleton, English lecturer at the University of Granada and expert in language testing

As well as improving the reliability and the validity of the official examinations we produce (CertAcles B2) at the university, the course has provided a great opportunity for us to get to know colleagues from other universities and establish working links between us.
